Dear Mr. Jessie:

Thank you very much for not only providing quality Timothy hay, but also for being so pleasant and accommodating. (It did not hurt my feelings that a fully loaded truck netted a delivery discount, or the delivery price was less than the price that was quoted). Now that was a most welcomed (read: unheard of) surprise!

All of that said, I do not recall the last time someone actually said, “We appreciate your business,” or, “We look forward to doing business with you again.” I spoke with Cody in person, two others over the telephone, and all of them said something equally gracious.

In fact, earlier today when the nice young man that delivered, neatly and safely stacked the hay – was thanked for all he had done – also replied, “Well, we appreciate your business.” Most people don’t even say those words and not only were they spoken, I feel that every single person that voiced appreciation or something similar, truly meant what they said. It did not go unnoticed.

As a retired funeral director, I believe that service means a great deal to the public it serves; it means a great deal to this customer of that I am certain. Truth told, I have never once paid the amount that was paid for the Timothy hay I received today and I could not be more delighted! Delighted with the hay, the service and the delivery.

It was truly a pleasure doing business with you, your company and your tack store.
